Feeding/playing

Hello

How much should I be feeding my two month old golden/lab cross puppy? How many times should I feed her a day?

How many hours do puppys normaly sleep a day?

Will tug-of-war incurage her to start chewing on things shes not supposed to?

What games can I play with her?

Hi There!Pups under 6 months of age should eat 3 meals per day. The amount of food depends on the weight. Usually we use 1 to 1 1/2 cups (8 oz. cups) of dry food per 10-15 pounds per day.

Puppies sleep alot. When they are up any type of play will be enjoyed by her. Dogs need to chew, so tugging is really helpful. Just be careful about using things like socks or a towel to tug with. That tells her that it is OK to get these things and play with them. Instead, get a toy from the pet shop designed for tugging.
