Question
I have a male tabby cat about 18 months old. Somehow he has torn the skin from his heel to his toe. The skin is just hanging on by his toe. I can see muscle and bone. He has a good appetite, drinks plenty of water and milk, and moves around pretty good. Is there anything in my house that I can use to help him. I can't afford to take him to a vet. I put peroxide on his foot every day. I can't bandage it because he would just chew it off.

Answer
Ouch!  I wish you could take the cat to the vet...but the best thing you can do is keep it clean it needs to be wrapped securely so it stays clean and your cat may need stitches if you see muscle and bone, thats the scary part... it is very important that the wound is kept closed and clean so the skin can grow over the wound, you should diffintily talk to a professional vet over the phone and get his advice
