need help now

i think my dog just had a seizure. he is about four years old and a pure breed akita. we was all laying down and my dog just started flopping around like he was a dead fish. it was out of nowhere he has been in sight and has not gotten into anything that could possible hurt him. im really scared he did this for about a min or two and then when we got to him we held him down And he seemed to stop. he acted out of it for about a min and then was back to his normal self wanting to play. if you know what this could be please answer me back.

this does sound like a seizure. They do not bother dogs or people while they are happening. When I had only conventional veterinary training I would say just wait until they become frequent, then start on drugs that have a lot of side effects. Now that I have holistic training, I can tell you to try homeopathy, acupuncture, diet changes ( to raw meat and vegetables), even chiropractic. Get Rescue Remedy from the health food store and if a seizure happens again - take a drop yourself and give him one (rub on the hairless part of the ear, or if possible drip into the front of his mouth.
