Question
i noticed that my dog was limping this morning, i checked her paw and it's a bit swollen but i don't see anything other than that.  her limping has gotten a little worse from this morning and i don't know what to do.  it doesn't seem like anything is broken, i guess it could have been a bite but she's inside the house most of the time.  is there anything i can do to inspect it better or to help with the swelling?

Answer
Hi Nicole!  Check underneath the foot and in between the paw pads.  Often times a cut or a stuck pebble, ect., in between the paw pads will cause enough irritation to cause swelling and limping.
If he is still limping by tomorrow, and you don't see anything in his paw pads, a veterinary visit would be most beneficial.  If you do find something in his paw pads, a veterinary visit would also be necessary as your veterinarian will prescribe some antibiotics and cream to heal it.
I hope this helps and keep me posted!
