hamster acting weird

I just got a baby black bear hamster 4 days ago. She has been really active and interesting so far, but all night tonight she has been acting weird. She has the closed in wheel that connected on the side and she has only came out twice since I got home. And most of the time she's in it she's just laying there. She also keeps making weird noises. She squeeks a lot but these noises are different. She keeps scratching herself over and over and biting in the same spot. I just took her out to try to look at her where she's scratching but she's going crazy flipping around and won't sit still for a second so I had to put her back in her cage so she doesn't bite me. Do you know what could be wrong with her? Thanks so much-Heather

Take her to the Vet. and have her checked for mites.  Mites can cause them exptreme discomfort and eventually death when the animal is that small.  Mites are microscopic and a skin scraping should be done to identify them so they can be treated properly.
