Maltese loose teeth

I checked my 6 year old males teeth tonight and found that the bottom row of 4 teeth between the two insciors are very loose.  they actully will bend together up and down.  they seem to be the only teeth that are loose.  do they have to be pulled, can anything be done?

Tom, it sound like your boy needs a dental cleaning from a Vet.  Small dogs by that age develop pretty severe periodontal desease, which is gum infection and bone loss, which causes loose teeth.  Does his mouth smell bad?  Gum infections will lead to heart and kidney disease.  A good dental cleaning and possibly some specific antibiotics should improve the situation greatly.
