Doberman

greetings,
 About a year ago I had to put down our doberman. The Vet  I had her to all of the time we had her did not have a good explanation as to what went wrong. I have been bothered by this but did not want her to suffer. Anyway, she began to have a green disgharge from her right eye and nose as well as walking with her head tilted to the left. The vet looked for infections etc but found nothing except dry eyes. We treated her with antibiotics but had got a lot worse and started to loose muscle mass on the right side on her head and down her right side. SHe then would fall over at times as she walked as well as spin and fall when she tried to deficate. At this point I had her put down but the questions still remain,,, what happend to her that caused this? She was a rescue and about 7. Thanks, Mike

PS My son took care of her and did an outstanding job,, he misses her.

I can't answer this question for you. I would have thought it would have been an infection also but since your vet said it wasn't I don't really know what it could have been. Since she was a rescue.....she could have had problems before you had gotten her.
