heat cycles in dogs

I have a female Weimaraner 6 years old, I have been noticed that she had her heat cycle every 4 months. But I am worried because now she is bleeding just after 6 weeks of her last cycle. What should I do?

I would recommend getting her spayed....this is not normal for a dog to cycle every 4 months...they should only cycle twice a year.  The bleeding could indicate endometriosis.  The safest thing is ovariohysterectomy and if the tissues look suspicious then have them sent for a biopsy to rule out cancer.  And definitely get her on some antibiotics.
