Cat breed, safe for family?

Question
The kitten
The kitten
I found a kitten a couple days ago and took care of it. No owner has yet claimed it for a while, and I a, moving so I am deciding whether or not to bring it. I need to know the breed. It is a female, has sharp pointed ears, black spots and stripes with dark color, soft to the touch. She is a little skittish and on the wild side sometimes. I wonder if it is a ban gals mix or a bobcat mix. Is it family friendly?

Answer
This is what you call a domestic short haired. A brown tabby by the looks of her. The M on her forehead is a tabby trait.

No exotic breed there, I'm afraid, just a typical, half wild cat.
Trimming her nails will NOT keep her from climbing any fences.

If you want to keep her from getting run over, then get her spayed SOON   and keep her in the house.

Make sure she is tested for Leukemia, FIV and FIP when you get her spayed and then get her vaccinated. She is also old enough for a rabies vaccination.

She is probably at the age of going into heat soon if she hasn't already, so get her spayed next week.

Since someone else in your family sent me a duplicate question I will reject that one and you can share this answer with Nina.

Thank you and have fun with her.
