get along

dr.jennifer:
      I have heard that the father and his kitties can't get along and sometimes kill them.I have a 1.5 years old father and 2 months old kitten.Is there any way in the world prevent this aggressive behaviour from the father.I don't want to get rid of any of them.

I do not think you should have a problem.  That usually holds true for hamsters and the like.  Cats are usually pretty good with kittens.  And at 2 months old the kitten is big enough to start defending himself anyway.  If you are concerned that the adult male is showing aggressive behaviors, then separate the two when you are not home.
