miniature pinser bahavior

i have been noticing lately that my eight-year old min pin yawns and licks her lips more frequently. also after yawning or when she rests here head, her lower jaw now soemtimes quavers. it has been going on for about a month.  last month she has an ear infection.  do you think it might have moved to her throat?  thanks!

Hi Andrew.  It sounds as though this ear infection may have gone to the inner ear, which will weaken the jaw muscles.  I would recommend having your vet check her inner ear.  It may look fine to the naked eye, but with an otoscope, which helps look deep into the ear, there may be an infection present.
