Cut on my dwarf hamsters tail

Hi. I have had two female dwarf hamsters since the end of the summer. One of them has a cut on the end of its tail. It almost looks like it got cut off somehow. There is a small scab. It does not seem to bother my hamster, she still acts normal. What should i do? If i take it to a vet what would they be able to do? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

From what I have read they can mutilate their tails so I would watch this sore and the hamster carefully. They also cut them on their wheels a lot and even on the cages if they are wire.
If it scabbed over I would just leave it be for now and don't touch it, but check it every day.
The vet might not be able to do much more than that anyway.
Let me know if it gets worse.
