I have two dogs.Whenever I put chapstick on my lips,only one of them jumps up on me,like he wants to dance,but then he licks all of the chapstick off my lips!Why could this be?Is there a certain chemical(s) in it that dogs like?Also,is it possible to pirce a dogs ear?If so,what animals?If not,why?Also,if you take a picture of an animal when he/she wakes up or at any time,can this hurt?If so,how and why?If only certain animals,whcih animals?Thank you so much.Please write in good neat sentences or paragraghs as for I will rate you on this site and any info with be soo much apprecioated!Tahnks,Miranda

There is nothing in Chapstick that I know of that is an attractant to dogs or any other animals.  Your dog may just be fond of the scent and like the attention you give him when he behaves that way.

I would not recommend piercing a dog's ear (or other animals) due to the fact that their ears bleed A LOT when cut and the piercing is likely to cause head shaking which could lead to an ear hematoma.  They do put ear tags in cattle for identification purposes.

There is nothing wrong with taking a picture of an animal when they wake up unless the animal is fearful or aggressive as this may startle them and lead to then snapping or biting at you.
