Question
I have a spaniel hes 10yrs old and recently i was told that several of the discs had gone in his back. The first time they gave him painkillers and anti inflamatories which seemed to work, but this time they tried them and it doesnt seem to be having much effect. They have put him on steroids now but his back legs are still shaking and he has collapsed on the floor a couple of time. Hes only been on them a couple of days but when they take full effect im worried that when hes feeling better and begins running and jumping about again that he could fall and cause himself a serious injury as i no this isnt healing the problem. I dont know what to do, as i dont want to spend all my time worrying about him, but obviously dont want him to be in pain either. Can you give me any advice

Answer
Kim, Sorry about your little boy.  Disc pain can be awful and control of the back legs can be a bit clumsy.  Keep him on the steroids for a little while.  Work with your vet to wheen down to a very low maintenance dosage.  ( tell you vet I said, low dosage)

Next, Let's get this kid onto some supplements :

Buy some Turmeric / this is a herb in a capsule - give him 1/2 the adult dosage per day:
Here is a link all about this wonderful anti-inflammatory

Next, NuJoint Plus - This is a must for any dog that is aging and has hip, joint or arthritis problems.
Breeders, Kennels, and VETs offer NuJoin Plus - It is all Natural and Safe.
Call the manufacturer and order / USE this BREEDER code ( 81098)-
they can't sell to the public without a code.
Call Joan today at 1-800-474-7044 EXT 265
Joan will explain the money back guarantee and help with your first order.
Ask for Joan Harris at Ext 265 / she is wonderful

The NuJoint Plus will be very helpful and should reduce the swelling and restore mobility within weeks.  If not, They will REFUND you.
No risk.
Also, NuVET Plus - is a great daily vitamin supplement for your girl. Only .55 cents per day for NuVET Plus -  this works hand in hand with the NuJoint Plus.

I sure hope this has helped you.  Please write to me every two weeks with an update on her condition.

BEST wishes!!
