my bassethound had puppys today it feels like there are more in her but after the last one she hasn't tried to push any more should i be concerned? it has been three to four hours since the last one

If she is panting and straining she might still have one in there. If she is acting normal and has no bloody or dark discharge then she might be fine. The problem is that if she even has one retained placenta then she can get a terrible infection in her uterus.

Your best bet would be to take her into the vet and get a 'clean out' shot for her. That way she will expel any placenta left behind.
