because he just moved in?

Answer
While stress can certainly upset a dog, vomiting isn't usually the first thing they do. You made no mention of his age, his vaccination history or where you got him from.

Is he a puppy from the pound, a pet store a private breeder? Has he had one or more vaccinations? How old is he?
Does he have diarrhea?
Have you fed him something new suddenly?
These are the things I need to know before I can help.
