I know that dogs can be seriously affected by chocolate. This morning, I dropped a small piece of fudge on the floor. Of course, my 55-60 lb. collie mix was right there to grab it. Should I be concerned about that small an amount given his size? What signs of sickness should I look for before calling his vet?

its best to call your vet on this. Especially if you put bakers chocolate into the fudge.

Some dogs react to chocolate, some don't. Each is different.

Watch for anxiousness or lethargy, but I would call the vet first.
