PULLED MUSCLE/JOINT PAIN

I have a 3 yr old pug and notice he is whimpering and not his normal playful pug. He is tenative about going upstairs, nd is not as excited about meal time as normal. Can i help him in anyway? Hot compress,etc.

Hi Donna!Without knowing specifically what is wrong with him, I cannot really tell you much. If you rest the dog for a few days without encouraging playing, it might help. If there is pain, then you need to take the dog to the vet for an exam.Hope this helps! Nicole.D.
