Hello Majo, how are you doing? I have a question about my dog's breed. I have him when he was 3 months old and now he is 5 months old. I am not too sure about what kind of breed he is. His name is Milou. Can you tell me more? His pictures are at http://www.geocities.com/clkoh73/milou.html

Hi Alex!I am doing ok.This Nicole Damphouse.I went your website and looked at the 3 pictures.They are very adorable!I do beleive he is a  Shih-tzu.Here is a list of stuff you look for to be sure she is a Shih-tzu.Her height should be 11-12 inches.Her weight should be 10-16 lb.She will live for about 12-14 years and should be a town dog.If your dog is over her normal weight her is what you can do.With prescription diets, the dog eats MORE food, but much of it is undigested, so the dog loses weight. Ask your vet for a prescription diet food like OM or R/D. Many foods are listed for weight control, but they are not used to lose weight, only to maintain.You an get these prescriptions only from your vet.
