Sawdust

Do you know why my hamster always scratches the sawdust to one end of the cadge and if I have tubes pointing outwards instead of up he blocks the tubes up with doing it?

Also he has a toilet which he uses he gets in the toilet and ends up scratching the litter out of the toilet by the time he has a pee theres hardly any litter left in.Any ideas? thank you

Hamsters are funny creatures for sure. He may be telling you he doesn't like the type of sawdust you are using. Or maybe you are using too much and that is why he scratches it out of the toilet area.
Try a different type that is made for hamsters and or try using less of what you are using.
Call the pet store and ask them for other ideas.
