sore tounge

I have a 11 year old female cat that has sores on her tounge and droles from her mouth. It looks like they have eaten away part of her tounge. She had quit eatting for a while but she has started to eat some now but it hurts her extremly to eat she has lost weight.  She will not groom herself anymor either.

You need to take her to the vet for an examination to determine if this is treatable and pain medication at the least.  She may have squamous cell carcinoma, a very common mouth cancer in cats.  It is not fair to her to let her suffer, so you will need to make a decision.
