4 year old yellow lab

Sophia shakes her head and sneezes ALL the time. She has done this her whole life and it drives us all crazy. Her ears are clean with no smell. And the sneezes come when she gets up from laying down. She greets us by sneezing on us and flapping her head really hard. How can we train her to stop this behavior?

My hugest of apologies for the delayed response.  Sadly illness has kept me terrible behind.  Has she even been tested for allergies?  Especially those with dust allergies will have sneezing occur after sleeping.  Given that she has had a long history of the sneezing I would recommend having your veterinarian test for this before proceeding on to other methods.
