QUESTION: Yy puppy lately has had this metallic odor that comes form either his mouth or from his skin and it is every time he wakes up from a nap what do you think it is?

QUESTION: We feed my two dachsaunds science diet wet food and purina proplan dry food and they eat very good. a few months ago my male dachsaund had a sore on his tail and we thought that he got bit by a spider. We kept an eye on it and it stayed sore and never went away.  And every morning it is swollen and sore, you couldn't touch it without him crying. But his odor every morning is metallic too. we asked my vet about his tale and she said that their could be a sist under the skin but she wasn't shore.  She said that should wouldn't know unless she did surgery. Do you think the two could be conected?

Hi Amy - Let's try a few things... See if we can get rid of this questionable area on the tail.

Ok, please follow this plan for healing:
Acidophilus - Probiotic formula -( spring valley brand or others)
GET the 1 billion CFUs-
Give this boy 1 per day - you can break it in 1/2 and hide in some of the wet food or cheese.
