Question
hi i have a 3 month old toy pom and she poops alot sometimes its kinda watery too.. she is so active eats anything drinks alot of water..i only give her really good dog food too...please help thanks

Answer
The most common cause of watery stool in puppies is worms, so your first step is to collect one of her firmer stools and take it to the clinic to be checked for parasites. If that is negative, they may need her tere to do a fresh "scoop" to look for protozoa.

do not just get worm medication. It is important to know what ones she has.

There are holistic alternatives to get her digestive system back to normal, so email again once you have a diagnosis. Feeding probiotics and digestive enzymes, even cultured Yogurt can help.

Please read my prior posts (my computer died, so I do not have access to all the great basic health care info I put in every post. I also suggest working with an integrative veterinarian who can offer many forms of healing.
To find one:
www.ivas.org and www.tcvm.com for acupuncture
www.theAVH.org for homeopathy (some can help you by phone)
www.AHVMA.org for general holistic practitioners

The best way to prevent health problems in the future is to feed a raw meaty bone diet, give no vaccines except for legally required Rabies and do your own check ups for Early Warning Signs (see my site or prior answers).
