Cats eyes closed

Question
Thank you for this service.  I just recently found an Abyssinian mix stray male.  I took him to the SPCA to be fixed and they were able to fix him, but they don't do other vet services, but they did say the cat had "anthrophy" (unsure of spelling) and should go to vet as his eyes could close completely if not "cleared up".  They are very busy there and you can't see a vet directly, just an assistant.  I am grateful for their low cost neuter clinic, but want to know more about what this could be with his eyes.  Can you tell me how to spell it, what it is or where to read more about this?  His eyes were badly scratched in a fight when I found him and the flesh was opened up around them.  Now the scratches have mostly healed, but he doesn't open them.  When I open them with my hands the inner eyelids do go back and I can see the eyeballs which looks normal.  Thank you very much for your time and your help and the wonderful service and gift you are giving to the public!!!!  I appreciate you.

I have an idea that you may be talking about a condtion of the eye where the eyelid  is turned under called "entrain".  It is extremely difficult to determine her problem without examining her.  Please take her to a veterinarian as soon as possible - if her eyesight is in jeopardy, the sooner you get ther examined by a doctor, the greater chance you have of saving her eyesight.
