I have a labrador retriever and need to know the best method to control ear yeast growth, ear mites and infections...

Costing me lots of $$$$$... Need some help please.

Yeast infections are usually the result of allergies.  Ina lab it could be a food a lergy or a pollen/mold/dust mite allergy.  So the underlying allergic problem has to be dealt with first.  I recommend an ear cleaner called Malacetic Otic (www.dermapet.com) as the treatment for yeasty ears.  You fill the ear canal to overflowing, then the dog will shake it out and you wipe the ear off with a dry cotton ball after that.  It is used once a day for 10 days, then weekly.
