puppy hit head

My wifes 6 month old yorkie fell from a couch playing with the cats. Its tongue is sticking out and can't move its legs. what can i do until i get to the vet. it is after hours and they are trying to locate the vet to respond.

The only thing you can do is keep the dog confined and warm but get it to a vet as soon as you can. This could be a spinal injury and the sooner you see a vet the better a chance the dog has of recovering.

I am so sorry for this accident to have happened to your sweet dog and I hope he makes a complete recovery.
