my dog china is getting very sick all the time and me and my family is getting worried. sometimes she can not hold down her own food(we give her dog and people food). why is this happening??? and she can not eat vegetables and fruits
AnswerYour dog needs to only eat dog food, and you need to give her the same kind all the time, not switch it all the time and never give her people food. You need to buy her some Science Diet for Sensitive Stomachs food and keep her on that and that alone.
Some dogs have overly sensitive stomachs, (I had one like that once) and they cannot tolerate any other food except DOG food that is good quality. When you give her people food you are upsetting her digestive system- which means her stomach, her liver and her pancreas- and they get inflamed and then she vomits.
This is very serious and can result in her getting gravely ill if she keeps getting sick from eating the wrong things. It is very important that you get her on the Science Diet and keep her on that only.
If she continues to vomit then you should get her into a vet as soon as you can. She could have a chronic problem and will need treatment by a veterinarian.
She should not be eating fruits anyway, butt some vegetables are fine for dogs. However, get her on the food I mentioned first then you can give her green beans and peas now and then, but that is all.
