licking feet

My mom has a 11 year old dog that will lay at night and just chew and lick non stop on her feet.. She has allergy meds for her and she still will not stop.. Can you give me some kind of idea how to help her.. Thanks Valerie

IF the allergy meds are not working, I would have to know which meds she is taking and the dose.  Many dogs also have infections between their toes because they lick and keep the area moist where bacteria and yeasts can grow.  The infection itches like crazy and unless the infection is treated, the dog will still lick even though she is on allergy medication.
