Questionmy male cat, 5yrs old, just started to sneeze 2 nights ago..
just now I was touching the right side of his face, and he started to sneeze after a few strokes.. and he got up and walked away.
I was not able to see if he'd sneeze no matter how I touched him around his face or not..
I did check earlier tonight and found his nose being cold and damp enough, and his ears were not hot.
do I need to worry about him b/c he is sneezing?
thanks,
jill
AnswerThat depends. Is he currently vaccinated? Does he go outside? If he isn't vaccinated I would be concerned that he has an Upper Respiratory Virus. If he goes outside, vaccinated or not, I would be concerned about the same thing.
If he is currently vaccinated and stays indoors always, then he might be having a reaction to something in the house.
If he sneezes for another day or so or develops runny eyes, or a discharge I would get him into the vets as soon as you can.
