tourettes

Okay so my papillon barks all the time we tried so many training technics nothing phases her at all! We sometimes joke around saying she has tourettes. She will be just laying there and out of no where she will start barking and we tell at her to stop than for the next minute or she will randomly let out tiny little barks.... Is it possible she can have tourettes?

Dogs do not get Tourettes but they do have "petite mal" seizures. They will bark, twitch and do other bizarre things when they have these.

Little dogs are more prone to seizures but all ages and sizes can get them.

You need to have your dog looked at by your vet to determine if she has petite mal seizures.

There is medication she can take for them if she needs it.

Call you vet tomorrow and make her an appointment.
