Can you tell me what kind of side effects this drug could have on a cat?

Answer
It is a sedative so the level of sleepiness will vary with the dose and the particular cat.  The third eye-lids (white part in the corner of the eye) will usually come up and cover part of the eye as the cat becomes relaxed.  Occasionally some cats will vomit.  It also lowers blood pressure so it should be used in caution in cats with kidney disease and heart problems.
