Question
Hi
I own a male Yorkshire Terrier called Sir Victor (Vickey). Vickey is very sick, 11 years old, lost all his teeth.
I love him very much and would like to prolong his life, without pain or stress.

Vickey is very sick with the following symptoms:
1) He lost body weight in the last 3 weeks from 2.0 kg to 1.5 kg.
2) He is disorientated
3) He walks in round circles (more clock wise)
4) When he stops walking, he leans side ways and falls.
5) After sleeping when he tries to get up, he falls down (x 5), then he can walk for 4 m and falls again. This cycle repeats.
6) When he falls it is mostly onto his left side.
7) He gets hot spells lasting about 1 minute at irregular intervals of 1 hour and more.
8) He lost his appetite.
9) Today he had blood in his urine.

Thanks for helping.
Ezme.

Answer
HI Ezme,

You NEED to get Victor to your vet. SOunds like he has some severe problems that need to be looked at.

Acting disoriented, weight loss, falling over, and now loss of appetite and blood in his urine are all flags to see his dr.

MANY things can be wrong with him.

Good luck!
