Question
my cat seems to like to gently bite after she licks you, what does this mean? we call it love bites but sometimes it's just annoying. thanks  choate family

Answer
Hi there!  When cats lick, they are smelling some sort of food on your hands...they tend to get a bit carried away with the smell of the food and nibble...forgetting it's your hand!  Cats have a very keen sense of smell, and even after washing your hands, they will be able to still get a scent of food.  Using a scented hand lotion would definately overpower the smell of food, so maybe you would like to try that?
I hope this is helpful!
