Question
QUESTION: Hello,

My 7 year old boxer dog has arthritus in her hips. I give her cod liver oil, glucosamine and alfalfa daily. Normally she is excercised 3 times a day. Over the last few days she has become wobbly on her feet. Today sporadically when she is laying down, she is wobbling slightly from side to side as if she is drunk. Do you please have any ideas?

ANSWER: Hi Zoe, There could be many things going on with her.  It may not be all related to the arhtritis in the hip.  This could be a thyroid problem or others.  Please get your Boxer kid into the vet for a check up.  Just to rule-out anything serious.  OK

Get back to me and let me know what happens.  We can talk diet and supplements after the vet sees her .

Thanks for your question

QUESTION: Hello Marie,

Poppy has been to the Vets and is on a 7 day course of anti-inflammotories. I have to return her to the vets at the end of this treatment, or if her behavious worsens.

Today she is no better. Bless her. Her excercise is being restricted and I am trying to keep her calm and quiet. The weather here is so very hot which I am sure is not helping matters.

Thank you for your earlier comments.

Have a nice day.

Answer
Hi Again Zoe! - Glad you took her to the vet for the anit-inflammatory treatment.  Give it a few days to work.
Also, feed her a little less food, since it is so hot in your area.
I am in Alaska and it is cold , 52 degrees here!  Rain, too!

You may want to get Poppy on some NuJoint Plus - This is a great natural anti-inflammatory / no side effects - very safe.
Call and ask for a bottle of NuJoint Plus :
1-800-474-7044  ( tell them Marie sent you and give order code 81098/ they can't sell to the public without a code)
NuJoint Plus is sold by breeders and groomers all over the World.

Thanks and let me know what happens!
