My dog's left eye is red and swollen.

The only advice I ever give anyone with an eye issue is to call the vet in the morning. You don't wait and mess with eye injuries. They are too easily lost by waiting.

There are too many things that can be wrong, infections, foreign bodies, trauma, etc.

call the vet asap!
