dogs due date

I bred my dog 01/05/2011, that was the 1st breeding, the last breeding was 01/09/2011, exactly what date would she drop pups, i was thinking 03/09/2011 or 03/12/2011. Do you count the last time she was bred or the 1st time.

You count both dates since you can never tell when they will drop. Their gestation is 63 days give or take a few days. Take her temperature starting on the 9th and check it daily. When it drops to 99 degrees you can expect puppies within 48 hours.

That is the best barometer of when they will whelp.
