Question
hi,my cat is pregnant. I took her to the vet a week ago for a scan. The kittens were very visible(they looked fully formed). She said that the kittens bones were fully calcified and she was due any day now. One week on we are still waiting. I can see the kittens moving inside her(for the past week) and she has not been eating very much(again for about  a week).Today she has been calling me a bit more and followed me around all morning while cleaning the house. she seems to be having a little look around for a place to give birth but i couldn't say its consent. I have prepared her a box which she has been in a few time but doesn't seem that bothered. her nipples are bright pink and have had white tips for the past week. also the fur around them has lessened. pleas could i have some advice.

Answer
Mother nature has its own timetable Susan and you just need to be patient. She is nesting so they are coming soon.

The fact that the kittens are moving and fully formed is great. She will probably have them in the next 72 hours. Take her temperature rectally if you can. Once it starts to head toward 99 degrees F she is going to have them within 24-48 hours.
Have fun!
