my cat got spade a week ago and i just realized there is a hard bump next to her incision. is that normal? she is acting normal, and the cut looks fine.

It is not unusual for a cat that has been recently spayed to have this lump form. It is a lump of fat usually that a suture isn't holding in well.
Sometimes the sutures dissolve too quickly leaving a muscle bulging a little.

If the incision looks fine and there is no drainage, then I wouldn't worry about it. Have the vet look at it when you take her in for her suture removal at 10 days.
