a stray cat had kittens and they all started out healthy but now have red spots and have hair loss on feet belly and head what is this and is there anything i can give them for it

Answer
Without knowing what they have it would be impossible for anyone to tell you what they need. Kittens or cats with red spots and hair loss would suggest ringworm in a massive infection and/or mange. Cats get both demodex and sarcoptic mange- but in all three cases you need to have a skin scraping done of the cats to know for sure what you are dealing with as one is a fungus and two of them are parasites.

So you need to take one kitten and the mom to the vets and have them tested. Better to take them all but only Mom and one kitten need to be tested.

It is very important that you do this as sarcoptic mange and ringworm are both contagious to humans.
