Question
Hi,
I have a 3 year pug named Kona, about 8 months ago we noticed a bump on her side so we took her to the emergency clinic...They concluded that she strained a muscle and just needed pain relievers and anti-inflammatory pills...Well this morning she has almost the same symptoms: She wont go up the stairs but she will go down slowly, she tightens her stomach up like a rock when we touch her their...She drinking a little and eating some...She walks like she's uncomfortable, and lays down slowly...The vet at the animal hospital we took her to this morning gave her meloxicam and said to come back in three days to see her progress. We have a 1 year old Pekapom that she rough-houses with alot so we think she may have pulled a muscle again I hope...Do you have any other info that might ease my mind? I feel so helpless and don't want to lose my dog.

Thank you so much!
Ty

Answer
Hi Ty - not serious - yes, most likely there is some inflammation in the muscle or joint areas... See you vet in a few days - I love Pugs!
Also, we can try your little Kona on some NuVET Plus Supplement - Wonderful stuff to aid in healing and helps to avoid joint and arthritis troubles...
Here is the link for ordering the NuVET Plus -
**all natural and very safe for little Kona to take every day...
Low cost, too!  ONLY about .55 cents per day.

Look for NuVET Plus wafers... only 1 wafer per day.. ( not sold in stores)

Best of Luck
