Boxer Puppys Swirl/Cowlick

I have an 8 week old CKC Registered Boxer puppy.I noticed he has the swirl/cowlick on his front left outside shoulder.Is this normal? All dogs I have seen has the swirl on their chest between their front legs.What could have caused this,if its not normal?

I wouldn't say it is normal, but it is not uncommon. Dogs get swirls in all kinds of places.
I don't think this really is a hindrance to his breed but you might want to contact the CKC and check their standards. If you are not showing him then the only issue with it is that he might pass it on but if you are not showing him then you wouldn't be breeding him so that isn't an issue at all.
It's just the way his coat pattern was laid down while in utero.
