Revolution Dog to Cat Conversion

Question
I don't want to kill my cat, so please check my math:
According to an earlier post, a cat gets 3mg Revolution per pound of body weight.
I have a cat that weighs 13 pounds, so he gets 39mg (lets just round that to 40mg)of revolution.
Dog's revolution comes in the following dosage: 120mg/mL, package contains 2ML. Which means I could dose 3 cats on 1ML or 6 cats on 2ML.
Soooo....cat gets 1/6 of the 2ML dose or .33ML???

Answer
I never will and never would ever recommend using the canine size of any topical on a cat or cats. That is how many cats end up in the ER overdosed on something that is too strong for them. You cannot dose properly this way and that is why they make a size for dogs and different sizes for cats.

So you can call your vet tomorrow and ask about it but I will never recommend that.
