QuestionMy 10 year old cat has really bad cat dander. She is black, so the white specks/flakes really show up. We are not allergic but I would like to help her get rid of it. Someone suggested putting a tablespoon of vegetable oil in with her cat food, but that made her throw up. I feed her dry Purina urinary tract health formula. Is there some natural way to rid her of the dander?
Thank you,
Paula
AnswerFeeding her a better quality, all-natural diet certainly will help. I feed my cats Prairie by Nature's Variety and they have beautiful hair coats. www.naturesvariety.com
Fish Oil is usually the preferred additive for dry skin.
I also like to use HUMILAC dry skin spray.
