Swollen Bottom on hamster

Question
Hi, my hamster's bottom is really very swollen. It takes a long time for her to get into the food bowl and she lies down when she drinks water. Please tell me what I should do. She is a female hamster and definitely isn't pregnant. She doesn't have diarrhoea and she eats and drinks fine. But when she walks, she kind of wobbles and sometimes falls. Please help me, I'm really worried about her.

Answer
HI Mary,
I'm sorry but I am not a hamster expert at all. You really need to get her to a veterinarian if she is having these kinds of problems.

She needs to be seen in person, not over the internet. So please call a vet where you live and take her in to be seen right away.

The hamster experts can be found under pets>exotic animals> hamsters.
