Sick Hamster

My hamster has a lump on his lower back, and is making squeeky noises, also kind of limping. Can you let me know what this may be? Thank U

Hamsters do have scent glands at their side that are small and black, which are normal.  However, it is a larger lump it could be a tumor or an abscess that is causing him pain and leading to the limping.  Your safest bet is taking him to the vet for an examination and exact diagnosis.  Then treatment can proceed accordingly.
