puppy birth marks

Hi there. I have a 9 month old Chihuahua. For the last 3 months or so he started developing dark funny shaped marks on his belly and penis. They are not raised or bumpy or hairy or anything. They just look like birth marks that humans develop... some are larger some are smaller... he doesn't seem to know they're even there. He is Brown/tan/white fur. Is this something I should be concerned about???

Hi Nicole:  I have a Chi too!  Miss Prisicilla has spots all over her belly just like a dalmation.  Don't worry, some Chi dogs do have spots or BEAUTY marks.

I have a book on chihuahuas and there are many with spots.  All shapes and sizes, too.
