Cholestrol deposits or corneal dystrophy

I just took my 1 year old pug to the vet because I noticed a small gray line starting from the corner of her eye to the center of her cornea on both eyes.  The vet says its either cholestrol deposits or corneal dystrophy.  I have an appointment with a opthamologist but not for a month.  Is there anything I can do in the meantime?  Change of food? etc? She is well in shape only weighs 12 lbs.

Sound like corneal Dystrophy:

Corneal dystrophy is a genetic disorder .. It is the development of gray-white opaque deposits of calcium and fats under the surface of both of the dog's corneas.  

This disease was inherited from mom or dad ... down the line of genetic..

Your dog may need drops in the future ... to prevent or cure ulcerations.  You may need surgery... down the road.  Many times a dog can live a good long life even with this disorder.

Don't worry... Your dog may never progress more than she has already.
Only time will tell.

Don't breed her because she will pass this on to any puppies... ok..
