Answer
Hello Miriam -

I am sorry to hear of your pet's diagnosis.

There really is not much I can do either. Diabetes can be treated successfully in humans and larger animals but with small pets such as Guinea Pigs it tends to take its course rather quickly.

Here's what you can do to help suppress further damage internally to your pet:

Feed your pet fresh Parsley daily, this is a wonderful green added to the diet full of vitamins and minerals. This will also help strenghten the kidneys and will not allow the Diabetes to harm their function.

Feed your pet Dandelion greens daily, this is also a wonderful green full of nutrients. Make sure if you pick them from your yard that they are not chemically treated. The Dandelion is an excellent herb for the liver and kidneys. It is a toner, detoxifier and diuretic. It will help to cleanse your pet internally and will keep the internal system balanced.

I make a tincture that can be given daily to your pet. I will leave my contact information at the bottom of this response if you would like more information on the remedy. Given the size of your pet, only a few drops of my remedy would be necessary. This will also help to maintain balance internally and will help to retard further damage to the internal organ systems.

It is important to keep your pet on a healthy diet with alot of fresh water. I am sorry I cannot help you with a solid home remedy or answer.

I hope this information has helped you and your pet.

If you would like more information on the remedy I mentioned above please contact me at wintersaurora@yahoo.com and I will be happy to assist you. I also offer a catalog of home made herbal remedies for human and animal concers which I would be happy to send to you as well.

Thank you and best wishes to you and your pet.
