Old Boston with bumps Cushings; Vitamin C ,Ester C canine dosage;

I am wondering if my old boy has Cushings. The problem is, he is super aggressive and requires a tranquilizer to go to the vet, there is no easy shots or bloodwork. at his age he has trouble coming out of tranqs. He started with a cluster of bumps bout the size of a quarter on the top of his neck. They have now spread all over his back. He looks like he has mange or severe acne. He is 10 years old, he does have the pot belly and drinks like a horse. I tried switching him to Eagle Pack Hollistic food and he refuses to eat it. At this point, I dont see any reason to take his favorite foods away, I just want to ease his bumps. He is still pretty active for 10 although his appetite and thirst is horrible! I just want some guidance on what i can do since Vet visits are next to impossible and i know that sounds horrible but he has been aggressive since 3 months old. He is a spoiled little beast that rules our roost and i feel like a terrible mother!

Hi Kim - I agree, don't make him eat food that he doesn't like - As you said : " he is 10 years old"....

Here is what you can try:  For the bumps give him 1 1/2 NuVET canine supplement per day - it may even help the ? Cushing's too.

Also, (1) 250 mg of Vitamin C  ( ESTER C ) -  very helpful - you can increase to 500 mg per day if your kid doesn't get loose stools.
Sometimes Vit C can give a loose stool as you increase the dosage.
Natural and you can't overdose on C.

Feed him the Eagle Pack or anything else he wants.
The NuVET will take care of the bumps and lessen them in 30 days or 60 days.... Natural takes time and doesn't work overnight...
But, slow is SAFE...
